The world of subway tile seems so simple. But is it? We get a lot of clients that love subway tile and want to use it somewhere in their home. Some of the main questions designers and contractors ask when subway tile is mentioned are: plain or bevel? Matte or polished? Glass or colored? Light grout or dark grout? The world of subway tile is now open and exposed. So before you say you love the look of subway tile, do some research. See what it is about the pictures you are looking at that you like. You will start to see consistency in what you are drawn to and will be better able to communicate it to your contractor, designer, or the tile sales person that is helping you.

Paula has been creating interiors for the past 12 years. She has her degree from FIDM/Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Interior Design and has had the privilege of gaining experience in a multitude of areas. Paula has worked at large design stores, a small boutique design store off Robertson in LA and a high end Interior Designer in Beverly Hills.
